  • How do I know if I need my well checked?

    Your well should be checked annually. If you’re not familiar, we can help.

  • I have no water! What do I do?

  • Do you work on bored and drilled wells?

    Yes, we work on bored and drilled wells.

  • Do you work on jet and submersible pumps?

    Yes, we work on jet and submersible pumps.

  • How deep is my well?

    The answer is unknown unless you have a well data sheet from the original drillers. Most wells in the surrounding areas are 200-600 ft deep (drilled) or 20-70 ft (bored).  

  • Do I have a jet or submersible pump?

    A jet pump is positioned above the ground. A submersible pump is positioned at the bottom of the line going into the well.

  • When should I contact you if I believe there may be a problem with my well?

    The sooner, the better! Every problem that occurs may lead to another within the system. The sooner the issue is noticed and resolved, the better the other equipment remains in good working order.

  • Do you offer a warranty on your service?

    Along with the manufacturer warranties offered (some up to five years), we provide a one-year service warranty on all work done by the technicians at Slaughter’s Well Pump Service, LLC.

  • Do you have to have a license or certificate to work on well pumps?

    Yes.  Slaughter’s Well Pump Service, LLC is a state-certified pump Contractor (GA Cert # 24).

  • Are you insured?

    Yes, we are bonded and insured. All technicians also continuously complete “continuing education” classes through the GAGWP.
